The death of Simon Andrews, who succumbed to his injuries sustained in a crash at the NW200, was most upsetting. He was a brave, determined, professional, who had more than his fair share of bad luck. He was quiet in the paddock, but had a cheeky side. This image, to me, epitomised his character. A fairly simple news shoot prior to the 2011 TT was required. Next thing I know, Si has climbed up on the bike and "struck a pose"
He was always a pleasure to work with and will be sadly missed. Gone, but not forgotten. My thoughts are with Simon's parents Stuart and Dee and sister Claire.
